Revival Retreat FAQ

What if I don’t consider myself a vintage seller OR a creative maker? Can I still sign up for Revival?

Open tab

Absolutely!

This retreat is geared toward vintage sellers & creative makers to fill a void we see in the conference & retreat space. But to us, any creative entrepreneur will benefit from this event since we’ll be covering so many topics important to every business.

Types of business owners (beyond vintage & handmade) who we think will love Revival :

Confectioners & bakers

Florists & boutique growers

Artisan food makers

Balloon artists

Stationers & calligraphers

Food truck owners

Fine artists

We also think of these businesses as creative makers…

Photographers

Event & wedding planners

Caterers

Wedding & event venue owners

Staging & event decor companies

Where is Revival Retreat?

Open tab

Revival is @ The Sixpence

4400 North 100 East

Whitestown, Indiana

The Sixpence is an amazing barn style event venue situated on 17 acres of rolling hills just north of Indianapolis, Indiana. The peaceful family-owned property is the perfect place to get away from the world, refocus, & recharge.

How far is The Sixpence from the Indianapolis International Airport?

Open tab

The Sixpence is 40 miles north of the airport. Both Uber & Lyft are available in the Indy area.

Is there plenty of parking at The Sixpence?

Open tab

Yes, if you drive to the retreat there is a very large parking lot. The Sixpence is in the country so you won’t be competing for parking in a busy area. No worrying about feeding a parking meter or paying for parking.

Where should I stay during the retreat?

Open tab

There are multiple hotel options available near The Sixpence plus several Airbnb properties close by ranging from one-bedroom apartments to entire houses.

To locate the nearest hotels type these Indiana towns into your favorite travel app: Westfield, Zionsville, Whitestown, Carmel, or Lebanon.

Westfield is the closest town & has lots of restaurants & shopping. The Whitestown/Zionsville area just down Interstate 65 is also a great place to stay.

If you love a charming village vibe we recommend finding an Airbnb or VRBO stay in Zionsville, IN. Its old-fashioned downtown looks straight out of a movie & you can shop fun boutiques plus enjoy local restaurants.

What should I bring with me?

Open tab

We’ll have some fun pens & cute notepads as gifts for you but I always have an Idea notebook going where I keep business thoughts & you may have one of those too. Bring yours if you have something similar & your favorite pen.

Laptop (if applicable - a few workshops may include actually working on your own social media account in real time)

You’re also welcome to bring your travel tumbler or coffee mug but we’ll be set to serve you comfortably as well.

What should I wear?

Open tab

As much time as vintage vendors & makers can spend in work clothes & messy buns we’d love to dress up! We’re thinking colorful spring clothes, fun jewelry, & a vibe of dressing up for ourselves & each other. Let’s make it a party! :)

We’ll also be doing headshot photos on either Tuesday or Wednesday so you’ll need an outfit you feel great in for that.

Please note temperatures in buildings can always vary & April is a month with wide-ranging weather so we’d suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you to layer over your outfit.
